We are also close to major cities like Philadelphia and 2 hours to New York City. This area is less crowded and has very little traffic. Home prices and taxes are less than many other parts of NJ. We have some of the best beaches and world famous boardwalks around. This is a summer resort destination. On the mainland (off the island) where most of our 55+ communities are located there is less traffic and lower prices.
