Berkeley Park is bordered by I-75 to the north, Northside Drive to the east, and Howell Mill Road to the west, which are home to most of the neighborhood retail, dining, and public transportation options. 17th street runs through the southern section of the neighborhood and connects the area to the busy Atlantic Station shopping district next door.

The development of the Atlanta Beltline trail near the southern border of Berkeley Park has added to the value of this neighborhood, and the area has seen an overall increase in home prices. Residents value the small-town feel that Berkeley Park offers without having to live too far from downtown Atlanta, but the neighborhood still offers a range of price points.

Ginya Izakaya, located off of Northside Drive, serves sharable Japanese small plates, sushi, ramen, and sake. About a five-minute drive out of Berkeley Park is the popular Nuevo Laredo Cantina, a Mexican cafe serving traditional home-cooked food and drinks. Nuevo Laredo has been voted as some of the best Mexican food in Atlanta, so be prepared for a crowd. The nearby Atlantic Station is also home to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and dining options.

While Berkeley Park tends to be a quieter neighborhood, its proximity to Atlantic Station and Midtown provide residents with plenty of options for weekend fun. Just several miles to the east is Atlantic Station, offering shopping, gourmet ice cream, restaurant patios, outdoor bars, an urban park, and the Regal Cinema movie theater. The nearby arts hub of Midtown provides comedy, theater, entertainment, and a variety of bar and restaurant options.

It’s easy to enjoy a beautiful day in Berkeley Park, with its tree-lined streets and natural spaces. The nearby Underwood Hills Park offers a picnic area, playground, tennis and basketball courts, and a ball field. North of Berkeley Park is Tanyard Creek Park, home to part of the Northside Trail on the Atlanta Beltline trail system. Tanyard Park is one of the most picturesque parts of the trail, encompassing Tanyard Creek, open space, and wildlife.

The neighborhood is surrounded by I-75, Northside Drive, Howell Mill Road, and 17th street, providing convenient commuting and transportation options for residents. There are bus stops located on Howell Mill Road and Northside Drive, as well as Bellemeade Avenue, which runs east to west across Berkeley Park. Busses connect residents to MARTA stops and neighboring areas, and downtown Atlanta is about a 15-minute drive.
