A new, boutique condo project dubbed 900 West has received a building permit, according to Curbed Chicago. The 10-story condo project will be built on the northwest corner of Peoria Street and Washington Street in the West Loop.

The upscale condo building will feature 22 residences with amenities like heated floors and in-unit elevators. Some of the units in 900 West are expected to cost more than $1,000 per square foot, according to the report. Curbed Chicago points to a Crain’s Chicago Business report that one of the building’s units is already under contract for more than $5 million

The 900 West development is being led by Taris Real Estate and Northworks Architects + Planners.

The new West Loop luxury condo is slated for completion in the summer of next year.
