AV Homes recently completed a purchase of 18 acres in Peoria, Arizona with plans to turn it into their next all-ages residential community.

When completed, Sunleya will include 85 homes targeted at first-time and move-up buyers. The community will offer four floorplans and models are expected to be ready by the fall.

The big selling point for Sunleya is its proximity to Loop 303, a major highway that makes commuting and travel to nearby Lake Pleasant easy. It’s also 45 minutes from Glendale and about an hour outside Phoenix. The community is situated very close to Corte Bella Golf Course and just a short drive from the Agua Fria River.

In a press release, AV Homes Arizona Division President Chris Haines touted the location, saying “We are very excited about the opportunity to provide beautiful new homes in a park-like setting, and meet the growing demand for homes in the West Valley.”

AV Homes recently opened the 53-home gated enclave Stonebridge in Peoria as well. Homes there range from 2,639 to 3,830 square feet and were built with an eye towards outdoors enthusiasts.
