A new condominium complex could be coming to Baldwin Hills, as first reported by Urbanize

Plans filed with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors call for The View on Overhill to include 88 new condos, ranging in size from 1,288 to 2,400 square feet. The complex would include 228 parking spots (22 set aside for guests), plus a pool, jacuzzi, sun deck, and fitness center. The complex will sit right at the intersection of Overhill Drive and South La Brea Avenue.

Prices for the smallest units would begin at around $400,000 and go up to approximately $500,000 for the largest units.

The homes would be developed by the Bedford Group, who has created communities in Baldwin Hills before. Terra Nova features 55 townhomes on Don Lorenzo Drive. Baldwin Parc and Bedford Promenade house 172 condos on Santa Rosalia Drive.

Curbed LA also reports that some in the community oppose the project. The Bedford Group has created a site to petition for support by sharing updates about the density of the project, structure height, and other relevant information.
