While Las Vegas is known for its incredible shows, celebrity residencies, and concerts, even locals forget that the suburbs also offer some great opportunities to see live music. Whether you’re into jazz, acoustic, or rock music, Henderson has a solid array of live show venues where you can enjoy bar fare and music. Here are the best live show venues in Henderson.

While the prominent white tarp of the open-air theater Henderson Pavilion was recently decimated by a storm, the event calendar is still full of live music from Josh Turner and several cover bands. The Pavilion even has shows for kids and families to enjoy like Sesame Street and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.

Adjacent to the Pavilion is The District at Green Valley Ranch, home to several restaurants featuring live music. At Bella Vita, enjoy a delightful mix of eclectic music alongside appetizers like calamari, bruschetta, and beef carpaccio.

In Green Valley Ranch Resort, the restaurant Bottiglia may be known for its Italian fare, but it also has weekly events such as its Live Music Fridays series that happens after 7 p.m., right after happy hour.

Old Henderson

The historic Water Street District is the heart of the area locals think of as Old Henderson. Several of the mainstay casinos and venues have remained the same over the years, and these longtime Henderson staples are here to stay. Among these is Gold Mine Tavern, which has served up cocktails and beer for 53 years. Known for their 80-foot wood bar, Gold Mine Tavern has free live music shows and daily drink specials that you can enjoy from their recently renovated patio. The owners also hope to create a second-story patio and terrace, so locals will have more space to enjoy the live music and drinks.

Whitney Ranch allows residents access to gaming and entertainment that’s just minutes away at Sunset Station. With seating for up to 500 guests, Club Madrid at Sunset Station has a wide selection of musical genres ranging from rock to jazz to country. Ladies get in free, while men pay a $5 cover charge.

Rosalita’s Cantina is also a great place to kick back with a cocktail and listen to live music. Open 24 hours, the cantina is located inside the casino, giving guests access to all the casino has to offer.

Southern Highlands

Near Southern Highlands is The M Resort, a low-key yet high-end hotel and casino. Home to several live show venues, The M Resort includes Ravello Lounge, which hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Music choices often include a mix of Top 40 songs and hits from the 1980s and 1990s with three DJs that rock the house.

For guests more interested in visiting a wine bar, look no further than Hostile Grape. The only wine cellar in Henderson, Hostile Grape serves over 400 wines by the bottle and 160 wines by the glass from wine dispensers. Live entertainment at this wine bar includes music from pianists and acoustic guitarists for a classy and relaxing night.

Lake Las Vegas

Lake Las Vegas may have a different city in its name, but the lakeside neighborhood is really a part of Henderson. It may seem out of the way, but venues like Vino Del Lago, a newly-opened wine bar in the village, make the drive worth it. Unlike other live music venues in the area offering dining options, Vino Del Lago operates like an old-school wine bar, placing the focus squarely on the wine and music. Guests purchase wine tasting cards that can be scanned at any of their eRFID wine dispensers. On the weekends, listen to some jazz music with your glass of wine along with a plate of tapas.
