Brandywine Homes has joined forces with Integral Communities on a new detached single-family home community on Daisy Avenue in Long Beach, California.

Dubbed Riverdale, the developer broke ground on the gated 131-home residential community this week and eyes an August 2017 grand opening.

Riverdale’s residences will range from 1,900 to 2,250 square feet and three to four bedrooms. Home amenities are set to include gourmet kitchens with stainless appliances and granite countertops, contemporary floor plans, and green features. Prices are expected to start in the low $600,000s.

The community will also include various residential amenities, including a resort-style clubhouse, Junior Olympic pool with spa and cabanas, outdoor dining areas, and a “tot lot.”

Adjacent to Riverdale, Brandywine is also developing a 3.3-acre city park. The C. David Molina Park, located at 4951 Oregon Ave., will include a turf soccer field, playground, restroom facility, walking path, and fitness stations. Energy efficient lighting is expected to provide plenty of extra hours of usage for Riverdale residents and the greater Long Beach community.
