Among a handful of communities builder CalAtlantic Homes recently opened, the luxury single-family home community Overlook just opened in a master-planned community in Cedar Park outside Austin.

Overlook, inside the high-end community The Ranch at Brushy Creek, includes 16 luxury, single-family home designs situated on 65- and 75-foot lots. One- and two-story floor plans range from 2,613 to 4,623 square feet, with three to six bedrooms and two to five baths. Architecture styles emulate the look of that of residences in the surrounding Hill Country.

Inside, homes have open-concept designs with spacious great rooms, kitchens with center islands, and "spa-like" bathrooms. There also are outdoor covered patios. Community amenities include swimming pools, hiking and bike trails, a sand volleyball court, a pond, and covered pavilions.

Overlook is within walking distance of Brushy Creek Lake Park and 20 minutes from Austin.
