Chicago and Newark, New Jersey are the top contenders for the Mars Wrigley Confectionary U.S. headquarters, according to the Chicago Tribune. Chicago is already home to the five Mars Wrigley offices as well as five factories, but New Jersey is trying to lure the company’s U.S. headquarters with more than $30 million in tax credits.

If Chicago manages to land the deal, the new headquarters will come with a 92,300-square-foot headquarters and 370 jobs. If Newark is selected, Chicago would lose approximately 200 jobs, according to the report.

The City of Chicago has not commented on much in tax incentives the city is willing to offer Mars Wrigley.

New Jersey is envisioning two Mars Wrigley offices — one in Newark and one in Hackettstown –- by 2020.

“Mars is a major contributor to Chicago’s thriving food industry ecosystem, and we are working closely with the company across its many business lines to continue to increase its presence in Chicago,” a spokesman from Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s office told the Tribune.
