The CTA is investing $280 million into an overhaul of its 95th Street Station, which handles approximately 20,000 bus and train commuters each day, according to the Chicago Sun-Times

As a part of the project, the station’s bus terminal has been under construction since November. The terminal is now open again, and the majority of buses are picking up passengers at their regular boarding areas.

Right now, the westbound CTA No. 95 bus and the Pace No. 381 bus are still picking up passengers at 95th Street and Lafayette Avenue because of ongoing sidewalk construction, according to the report.

The $280 million project is still ongoing. The CTA plans to add two new terminals: one north of 95th Street and one south of 95th Street. One station will open in early 2018, while the other will open closer to the end of next year, according to the report.
