Downtown Phoenix Mixed-Use Project Could Include Condos
Ryan Companies, Tilton Development, and Hunt Investment purchased a 1.56-acre lot at the corner of Willetta and Central Avenues in Phoenix for $4.54 million, and they’re ready to start building.
The group revealed a proposal to build a five-story, mixed-use project called the Willa. Plans call for two office suites and 220 residential units. It’s unclear just yet whether or not they will be condos or apartments.
This project would join a glut of residential buildings in Downtown Phoenix as the city anticipates a growing population and need to house it.
The site is just north of Burton Barr Library, the flagship location of the Phoenix Public Library system. It also benefits from being right along the Metro light rail and within walking distance of many retail options.
