According to a recent Del Rey Neighborhood Council's Land Use and Planning Committee presentation, a new collection of four-story townhomes is coming to Centinela Avenue. Urbanize was first to spot the news.

The small complex will be located at 4910-4918 Centinela Ave. in Del Rey. A duplex currently sits at the address, however, there’s been no timeline to spell out when that would be removed.

Ballona Creek sits just a couple blocks southeast of the address, and California State Route 90 — which provides access to the larger Interstate 405 freeway — is also within a half mile. Los Angeles International Airport is less than five miles away as well.

Del Rey is situated between Culver City and Marina del Rey, which both feature numerous entertainment, dining, and shopping options.

The new complex was designed by Payson Denney Architects, which has created numerous properties in Southern California and New Mexico. Some of the firm’s more recent projects have gone up in Santa Monica, Venice, and Laurel Canyon. Additionally, the firm is working on homes in Venice and Bel-Air.
