Formerly Apartments, Mosswood Condos Now For Sale in Oakland
In 2006, a pair of brothers bought the 1961-built apartment building at 466 37th Street in Oakland’s Mosswood neighborhood. They had big plans to convert it into condos but, as Curbed SF tells it, a certain bubble burst and the project stalled.
Eleven years later, they’ve finally completed the conversion and all eight condo units are for sale. Well, just six of the condos are for sale as two have already been sold. The remaining units, all of which are one-bedrooms except for a sole two-bedroom, range from $345,000 to $449,000.
Each condo includes a clean and modern look. Kitchens feature butcher-block counters, gas ranges, and stainless-steel accents while bamboo flooring runs throughout. Units aren’t huge (the two-bedroom tops out around 677 square feet) but the tradeoff is that you’re 10 minutes from the MacArthur BART station and just down the road from Mosswood Park Amphitheater.
