Sundance Square Plaza has been one of the most popular sites in Downtown Fort Worth since it opened in 2013. The Sundance Square area of downtown has been a big draw for tourists and city dwellers alike. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the plaza has signed its first sponsorship deal with Nissan.

The sponsorship by Nissan is a one-year contract that will help pay for the free programs at the Sundance Square Plaza. Some of those free programs include popular community events like Bands on the Bricks and the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, which will take place this year on Nov. 18.

In exchange for the sponsorship, Nissan can market its vehicles at the plaza, including having vehicles and signage on display. However, the plaza won’t be renamed in any way to reflect the sponsorship.

Sundance Square Plaza has been approached about other corporate sponsorships since the beginning, but Nissan was the first partnership they accepted.

The one-acre brick plaza includes a stage and pavilion, which is often the site of many public concerts and performances. Located between The Westbrook on the west and The Commerce to the east, the plaza offers attractive urban views of the Fort Worth Convention Center and the Tarrant County Courthouse.

Sundance Square is the central entertainment district of Downtown Fort Worth and includes bars, clubs, trendy dining establishments, and cultural venues such as the Bass Performance Hall.
