Financial site 24/7 Wall St. recently put together a list of best neighborhoods in each state for holiday lights, and Arizona’s most festive neighborhood can be found in Gilbert.

To determine the best neighborhood for festivities they reviewed news reports, local image galleries, and holiday light display award archives. They also looked at the average statewide monthly residential electric bills, the number of residential units, and median home values in each zip code. According to their findings, East Comstock Drive in the Higley Groves neighborhood outshined the rest.

Dubbed Christmas on Comstock, the street boasts a combined 110,000 lights, 300+ strobe lights, and over 50,000 feet of wire. Visitors can also sync their car radios to 93.9 FM for a soundtrack to match the decorative displays. The street has raised the bar each year and managed to receive national attention in 2016 for winning ABC’s “Great Christmas Light Fight”. It was also named this year by People Home and Travel as one of the five streets with the “Most Over-the-Top Holiday Lights in America.”

Other neighborhoods to check out in the Gilbert area include Liberty Lane by S. Lindsay and E. Ray Roads, which was also featured on “Great Christmas Light Fight,” Circle G Ranches, a neighborhood of luxury homes that put up huge light displays, and Catamaran Drive in Val Vista Lakes, where animated lights displays are synced with music on 90.1 FM.
