In 2017 alone, eight homes in Pilsen have been sold for $600,000 or more, according to Chicago Magazine

This appears to be part of a larger trend of increasing home prices in the Lower West Side. Midwest Real Estate Data has found that price per square foot has gone from $84 to $225 in the neighborhood over the past five years.

Chicago Magazine attributes rising home values in the neighborhood to new developments including new condos, new townhomes, and the recreational Paseo trail.

There could be more Pilsen homes to sell near the $600,000 mark. Chicago Magazine points to three homes currently listed at prices ranging from $599,900 to $699,999.
