Since Amazon announced plans for a second headquarters in the United States, cities have been quick to make the case for why they’re a perfect fit for the tech giant. Los Angeles is on the list of cities that have a shot, but no one’s really sure where it could go in LA. Torrance and Culver City are both options, as is Irvine down in Orange County.

But one Los Angeles Daily News opinion piece makes the case that the San Fernando Valley could be the best fit of all.

Bob Blumenfield details in the piece how Woodland Hills’ Warner Center has the space, population, and affordability to be an ideal home for Amazon. The Warner Center 2035 Specific Plan also aims to address concerns around public transportation in the region.

Woodland Hills is developing more and more into a city-type environment, which only helps make the case even more for Blumenfield. With an increase in nearby homes to a potential Amazon HQ, the proposition becomes more attractive for employees and the city as it wouldn’t necessarily add to LA County’s traffic issues.

Amazon is still likely to be far out from a decision. But with impassioned pleas from around the country, it’ll have its pick of some top locations. Will the Valley be among them?
