KB Home's Compass in Hayward Offering New Houses for $700K
KB Home recently announced the grand opening of their newest community in the Bay Area.
New home community Compass is located in the East Bay city of Hayward near the intersection of Jackson and Santa Clara streets. The community will include five three-story floorplans that offer up to 2,022 square feet of living space. Homes will feature up to four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths as well as two-car garages. Home amenities will include open layouts, outdoor patios, and solar energy systems.
Starting prices for the homes begin at $705,486 and go up to $787,483.
KB is hoping that the community’s close proximity to Interstates 880 and 580 and State Route 92, as well as to BART and Amtrak stations, will make it a logical homebase for Bay Area commuters. The nearby San Mateo-Hayward Bridge would give residents easy access to the Silicon Valley communities of San Mateo, Redwood City, and Palo Alto.
As for local amenities, Hayward offers over 3,000 acres of parks and open space and includes California's oldest Japanese garden. There’s also hills to the east, shoreline to the west, and a sizable retail hub in between in Downtown Hayward.
