Builder Online recently reported that KB Home has announced the grand opening of Montaretto Estates, their newest community in Tucson. It's being touted as the last opportunity to own a new build in the Tucson National neighborhood, home of PGA Tour hotspot Omni Tucson National Resort.

The gated community of 95 single-story homes will offer seven floorplans ranging from 1,231 to 2,423 square feet. Plans call for up to four bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths as well as great rooms, two-car garages, and covered patios. Homes will be built to Energy Star guidelines with energy- and water-efficient fixtures and faucets throughout. Desert front yard landscaping will include a drip watering system for efficiency.

Homesite choices include cul-de-sac and interior locations as well as the option for golf course or open space views. Currently, there are two model homes available for viewing.

A popular location conveniently located near the dining, shopping, and entertainment options in nearby Marana and Oro Valley, the community is currently accepting lot reservations only, starting at $4,000. Prices for homes will range from $230,990 to $294,990.
