Landsea Debuts in Southern California With 543-Home Community in Lake Forest
Chinese homebuilder Landsea Group, which has its U.S. headquarters in Irvine, is making its Southern California debut in the growing real estate hotspot that is Lake Forest. The company is building a massive residential development called IronRidge, which will bring 543 homes to the hillside city. Hoping to make a notable impact on the market, Landsea is offering an assortment of homes for prospective buyers, including detached townhomes and large single-family estates. Home sale prices range from the $500,000s to about $1.5 million.
The new master-planned community IronRidge features a collection of homes and five different neighborhoods, including Copperleaf, Sagebluff, Brookhaven, Highmark, and Windstone. Each neighborhood offers a variety of floorplans for potential buyers. Depending on the homeowner’s preference, residences range between 1,195 and 3,814 square feet. Here’s the breakdown:
- Copperleaf will offer three-story townhomes with two to four bedrooms and a two-car garage (starting in the low $500,000s)
- Sagebluff will offer two-story single-family homes with two to four bedrooms and a two-car garage (starting in the mid $800,000s)
- Brookhaven and Highmark will offer two-story single-family homes with four- to five-bedrooms and a two-car garage (starting in the low $1 millions)
- Windstone will offer two-story estate homes with five bedrooms and a three-car garage (starting in the low $1.2 millions)

As for the community plan, residents will have access to amenities such as a clubhouse, a resort-style pool, various playgrounds, barbeque areas, and a splash pad. The development’s location is also close to several recreational parks and scenic trails.
Landsea has properties in the Bay Area, Boston, New Jersey and now Lake Forest. According to the OC Register, the company plans on further expanding throughout SoCal. IronRidge is already open for home sales.
