The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and owners of multiple properties and real estate across the East and West Valley have sold 37 acres to Canada-based homebuilders Mattamy Homes, according to Phoenix Business Journal.

The property, which sold for $13.64 million, is undeveloped and located at Pecos Road and Hartford Street in Chandler, between the San Marcos Estates and Southridge Estates neighborhoods. The land is conveniently located near the Santan Freeway and Route 87.

Mattamy Homes is no stranger to residential developments in the Phoenix Metro Area, offering many projected floor plan designs. Verrado in Buckeye homes range from 1,627-2,876 square feet and start at $225,000 with upgrades including a gourmet kitchen and oversized master suites. Crosspointe in Peoria homes range from 1,981 to 3,312 square feet, starting in the high $400,000s, while boasting privacy and security in a gated community.

Though the plans for the property, dubbed “Haven,” have yet to be revealed, the site is zoned for 283 single-family homes.
