Formula One is considering using Downtown Miamis streets for its new Grand Prix circuit track, per Curbed Miami.

The plans are in preliminary stages, but Formula One executives and engineers visited the city in early November to discuss “potential racing circuits and logistics.” Racing planners have developed several routes that would have cars traveling around American Airlines, over the causeway to Dodge Island, down Biscayne Boulevard and, in a much less likely scenario, through the Port Miami Tunnel.

Formula One has been looking to expand its presence in the United States. In addition to Miami, Las Vegas and New York are also being considered as options while Austin, Texas remains the sole Grand Prix in the country. Miami has hosted street races over the years dating back to the 1980s, including the Miami ePrix, an electric car race held two years ago where vehicle speeds topped out at 100 miles per hour.
