The corner of 16th and Florida streets in the Mission District in San Francisco is up for grabs.

The site comes with approved plans to demo the two auto shops currently there in order to develop a seven-story building featuring 53 condos, 1,600 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 2,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 40-car garage. Nine of the condos will be offered at below market rates, per the requirements of San Francisco’s inclusionary housing program.

According to SocketSite, the plans were approved last year. While the demo and building permits have been requested and seem close to approval, the project site has been listed for sale at $9.995 million.

According to D-Scheme Studio Architects, who submitted renderings for the project, the exterior design “is influenced by the diversity of the surrounding neighborhood.”
