The first three phases of Georgia Row at Walter Reed will be complete this spring, UrbanTurf reported. The community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom homes in the Takoma neighborhood.

Homes range from 700 square feet all the way up to over 1,800 square feet. According to UrbanTurf, the living space is all on the main level, with bedrooms on either the upper or lower levels, or a combination of both, depending on the floor plan. There are 60 condominiums available, and 21 of them feature rooftop terraces.

Developers Craftmark Homes — which worked with Elm Street Development — called these homes “townhome-style residences” on the Georgia Row website. Some homes feature brick facades with natural stone accents, or twin vinyl siding. Panel shutters, rust-free aluminum gutters and weather resistant trim round out the exteriors of the homes.

Kitchen features include maple cabinets, quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, and GE stainless steel appliances. Master bathrooms feature pietra carrara tile flooring and walk-in showers, as well as maple vanities.

Homeowners can choose from different finishes, UrbanTurf noted, and have two style packages available: modern and transitional. Each residence has five-inch wide plank flooring, LED lighting, and spacious nine-foot high ceilings.

The community itself is within walking distance of the Takoma Park Metro Station, and has a bus stop right outside. It is also adjacent to the Walter Reed Redevelopment Project, and near shopping and dining. Homeowners will also enjoy available parking (for purchase) and bicycle storage.

The best part of this location is its proximity to Silver Spring. The suburb of D.C. is notable for its small city feeling. Here, you’re able to get away from the busy D.C. streets without sacrificing all of the excitement of them. Downtown Silver Spring offers a multitude of dining options, an IMAX theater, and free WiFi throughout the community.

If you’re interested in one of these homes, you have three floor plans to choose from: The Adams, which offers one bedroom with a den at 665 square feet, is priced from the upper $300,000s; the Blair, offering two bedrooms and a den at 1,372 square feet, is priced from the upper $500,000s; and the Carter, with three bedrooms, a private rooftop terrace, and 1,825 square feet of space, is priced from the upper $600,000s.

Sales are underway through McWilliams | Ballard. Phase four of the project is expected to deliver this summer.
