Homebuilder Taylor Morrison and KTGY Architecture + Planning announced last week that they will collaborate on Muir Pointe, a new single-family home community in the San Francisco suburb of Hercules, California. It will part of the larger 106-acre Bayside planned community already underway.

Consisting of two neighborhoods, The Cove and The Tides, the community will include 144 two- and three-story homes ranging from 2,017 to 2,651 square feet with three to four bedrooms, two-and-one-half to four bathrooms and a two-car garage. The homes will boast Italianate and Queen Anne inspired architectural styles and most will feature large decks or porches and first-floor bedroom suites to appeal to homeowners who want space for guests or multi-generational families. Three-story homes will be able to take advantage of Bay views thanks to double balconies and front-facing master bedrooms. Community amenities will include a children's play area, soccer field, picnic and community garden areas, and outdoor exercise space.
