Nayssan Properties Eyes 100-unit Apartment Complex Near Century City
Nayssan Properties, a Los Angeles-based real estate developer, has eyes on a vacant site at 10400 Santa Monica Boulevard just west of Century City for an upcoming apartment complex.
According to documents filed with the city (via The Real Deal), plans call for a five- to six-story building with around 96 residential units, eight of which will be exclusive for low-income residents.
Located on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Beverly Glen Boulevard, this is one of the few remaining undeveloped corners in the region. The 0.59-acre site includes four parcels and 235 feet of frontage along Santa Monica Boulevard. This busy thoroughfare will give residents a good home base from which to commute as entrances to the 405 and 10 freeways are nearby. The site's close proximity to Westfield Century City mall and Westwood Village means there are lots of retail and restaurant choices as well.
The site is currently zoned for both residential and commercial usage but it is unclear whether or not there will be retail space included in the project. Commercial real estate company JLL has been retained by Nayssan to market the development, one of multiple projects that they have in the works around Los Angeles.
