According to the Dallas Morning News, Grapevine-based New Era Partners is slated to begin construction on the $25 million North Garland Medical Center, which is expected to open next summer.

Located near the Bush Turnpike at Telecom Parkway and Lookout Drive, the tenant roster for the three-story, 95,000 square-foot facility already includes Family Medical Center Garland, Legacy Heart, Touchstone Imaging, and Signature Medicine.

"When we started looking for potential project sites, Garland clearly stood out," Daryn Eudaly, New Era's Founder and CEO, said in a statement. "There is a lot of new development happening in the area and we capitalized on the opportunity."

Since Eudaly founded the company in 2000, New Era has developed medical facilities in Texas and California, which include a Waxahachie project in 2014. In addition to gearing up for construction on the North Garland Medical Center, the partnership has a 175,000 square-foot healthcare facility in Flower Mound on the drawing board.

"Development interest and activity in the President George Bush Turnpike Corridor is extremely dynamic right now and we couldn't be more excited to assist developers in making their projects happen" David Gwin, Garland's Director of Economic Development, told the News.
