The City of Glendale is currently building a five-story multifamily residential development at the corner of Pacific Avenue and Maple Street, a bit south of Downtown Glendale. The project planners filed a proposal for the development in 2016 after receiving entitlements for the .34-acre property back in 2014.

According to Urbanize, the podium-style residential structure will include 27 units ranging from two to three bedrooms. Two units will be 1,022-square-foot two-bedroom residences, while the remaining 25 three-bedrooms will range from 1,212 to 1,823 square feet. Each residence will come with at least two parking spots and an additional space for private storage. There will be two levels of underground parking with a total of 70 parking spaces and a mix of short and long-term bicycle storage. The multifamily building will also feature several amenities including a fitness area, communal outdoor spaces, an attractive courtyard, and guest parking for every four units.

The project was designed by the Los Angeles architecture firm Envirotecture. The timeline for the development is currently TBD.
