New Development Bringing 4 Million-Dollar Homes to Highland Park
A new development, Highland Park Modern, is coming to St. Johns Avenue in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park, according to the Chicago Tribune. The project plans recently underwent some changes, including a different development layout, a slightly reduced size for each house, and an updated price tag for the homes.
Highland Park Modern will feature four attached homes in a straight row, spanning 2107 to 2113 St. Johns Ave. The development’s original plans called for the homes to be arranged around an auto court.
The development’s homes will be 500 square feet smaller than initially planned. Each home will have its own 1,120-square-foot enclosed yard, as well as a rooftop deck.
The revised plans have also taken the original $1.7 million asking price down to $1.1 million or $1.2 million per home, according to the report.
The Highland Park City Council has already approved the updated development plans.
Architecture firm Nicholas Design Collaborative, which is also the developer of the project, designed Highland Park Modern.
