Builder Online is reporting that The New Home Company has acquired 53 homesites for their Belmont neighborhood located within the Somerset master-planned community in Gilbert.

Per the builder’s website, homes here range between 4,118 to 5,028 square feet with three to six bedrooms and up to five-and-a-half bathrooms. Residences will be single story with the option of a partial second story as well as three or four-car garages.

The European-inspired community will be designed by Bassenian Lagoni Architects, with Spanish Monterey and French Farmhouse architectural styles to reflect the French name of Belmont.

On choosing their location, New Home Arizona Division President Pat Moroney told Builder that the site “was particularly attractive to us given the community’s central location in Gilbert, the fastest growing city in Metropolitan Phoenix.” Surrounded by a working farm, homeowners will have access to community amenities like parks, ball courts, walking trails, and a lake.

Construction on model homes should begin before the end of the year with a grand opening slated for spring of 2018. Though not yet official, prices are believed to start around the $700,000s.

The Somerset community is expected to top out around 262 homes and be completed over six or seven phases.
