New Rowhouses Planned For Corner in Chicago's Lincoln Park
While the city hasn’t approved plans yet, it’s possible that a cluster of vintage buildings on a corner in the tony Lincoln Park will make way for five new rowhouses.
Crain’s reports that the five buildings would come down to make way for rowhouses, which architecture firm Sullivan Goulette & Wilson will design to blend in with the mansions in the neighborhood. The homes may be about 4,000 square feet and should be priced in the $2 million range.
The buildings slated to come down currently include 10 rental apartments. Developer Sulo Development says the project will likely replicate the Grant Place townhome project that rose about five blocks away in 2007.
