Residential home builder Pardee Homes has officially broken ground on its residential center in Altis, a new development targeted exclusively to the 55+ community in Beaumont. The company hopes to attract the active modern-day baby boomer with its vast collection of single-level homes and resort-style amenities. Home prices will start in the low $300,000s.

According to Pardee Homes, the new 55+ community will feature 704 contemporary homes, provide access to over 22 acres of recreational trails and parks, and is within close proximity to coveted vacation spots such as the San Bernardino Mountains, Lake Arrowhead, and Palm Springs. Renderings of the residences have not yet been revealed, but the home builder is placing emphasis on the development’s impressive resort-style amenities.

The VuePoint at Altis, the 16,000-square-foot modern residents’ club, will sit at the heart of the future neighborhood development, and feature an array of perks. It will include outdoor patios, a great room for events and celebrations, a private gym, a movement studio, and activity rooms with panoramic views of San Gorgonio Mountain.

The steel and glassy club pavillion exterior will include four pickleball courts, V-shaped butterfly roofing, moveable glass, an integrated sound system, BBQ lounges, fire pits, and a 12,000-square-foot green area for events. The VuePoint will also feature a 2,100-square-foot wade pool for therapy, and another 4,300-square-foot resort pool with solar shades and cabana lounges.

The developer plans to open Altis by the summer 2018.
