The home builder PulteGroup just bought a former radio tower site in Palm Springs and plans to turn it into townhouses, The Real Deal reports.

The development will be called Preston Square and will include 164 townhouses priced in the mid-$200,000s range.

This isn't the only residential project Pulte is working on. The group is redeveloping a former golf course in Hollywood, Florida, into 340 townhouses and 305 single-family homes starting in the low $300,000s for townhouses and the high $300,000s for single-family homes. They're also working on a development in Boca Raton with 130 attached condos on a closed section of a golf course. In Lake Worth, a project called the Fields will bring 916 single-family homes and townhouses to South Florida. Those homes will range from about $335,000 for townhouses to the high $300,000s for single-family homes.
