Last week, the Temecula City Council approved a massive residential project proposed by Los Angeles home developer RC Homes, per The Press Enterprise. The 245-unit development called Cypress Ridge will be sold to prospective homebuyers at market rate.

The developer hopes to attract seniors, multigenerational, and special needs families. The project will be constructed on a 22-acre site located on the northeast corner of Loma Linda Road and Pechanga Parkway.

The proposed Cypress Ridge development will feature a mixture of for-sale detached cluster homes, duplex and triplex homes, and attached townhomes. Residents of the complex have access to communal amenities such as pedestrian footpaths and walking trails, numerous tot lots, picnic areas, a bocce court, and even a clubhouse fully equipped with a kitchen, pool, spa, as well as community and dining areas. Developers will also install upgrades to the nearby Pala Park such as redesigned playground materials, enhanced landscaping, revamped restroom facilities, and a better parking lot.

The condominium structure appealed to the council because it will grant parents of special needs children personalized housing options including noise-reducing walls, customized bathroom features, dimmer lighting, and wheelchair access.
