Revised Plan Aims to Build Condos on Vacant Lakeview Lot
Developer John Livaditis is hoping to build a four-story condo building with 12 units on a vacant lot at 2941-47 N. Clark St. in Lakeview, according to Curbed Chicago.
In 2014, the developer’s plans envisioned a 33-unit apartment building. Two years later the plan was changed to a 21-unit apartment building, according to the report.
Now, the plan features only 12 condos. The building would also have one parking space per unit, according to the report. The ground floor of the development would have 2,600 square feet of open retail space. The condo building will also feature a dog washing station and bike room, Curbed Chicago reports.
SPACE Architects + Planners designed the new building plans.
A restaurant is a plan for the available retail space. Half of the 12 condos will be three-bedroom units and the other half will be two-bedroom units, according to Jean Dufresne with SPACE Architects + Planners.
