The Quadrangle was not only the first mixed-use project in Uptown Dallas, the 51-year-old shopping and office center was a popular Routh Street fixture long before Uptown existed. Now the iconic shopping center is on the market, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler has been hired by The Quadrangle’s California-based owner to market and sell the property. Unlike many legacy centers that hit the market, The Quadrangle is almost fully leased by an assortment of different tenants.

When the center opened in 1966, it contained about 40 upscale retail and restaurant establishments that included galleries, boutiques, gift shops, antique dealers, and trendy eateries. Two decades later it underwent significant redevelopment when the office tower was added.

Today the four-acre Quadrangle development encompasses an eight-story office tower, six retail and commercial buildings, and nearly 200,000 square feet of combined space. Since the property is zoned for up to 750,000 square feet of construction, it has plenty of room for the next generation of growth.
