Rare, Undeveloped Beverly Hills Land for Sale, Asking $250 Million
Los Angeles has a minimal amount of usable land available and that’s especially true for inland areas like Beverly Hills. However, one 97-acre plot of undeveloped land just hit the market.
Curbed LA spoke with real estate firm Hilton & Hyland about the property, which is currently listed at $250 million. The owner has combined 12 parcels for the listing and will be selling it as one property — though the firm also notes that individual offers could be considered.
At 9560 Cedarbrook Drive, the property sits relatively close to Franklin Canyon Park and is just a short drive from Sunset Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard. Single home plans for a 75,000-square-foot mansion are in the final stages of approval. However, the listing notes that the plot could also become part of a gated community.
Though several LA properties have recently been on the market for over $100 million (including the top home at $250 million), this potential home would far outpace those prices. At $250 million for the land alone, the actual price of a luxury home built on the 97 acres could potentially challenge $1 billion.
