Austin Presidio, the mixed-use master-planned community in Northwest Austin, is getting 180 townhomes as it continues to grow. Houston builder David Weekley Homes purchased a 15-acre parcel of land inside the 130-acre community to build the homes, The Austin American-Statesman reports.

The first of the high-end townhomes are due to be completed in the third quarter of this year, and prices should range from about $300,000 to more than $500,000. Homes will have energy-efficient designs, private yards and open floor plans, and community amenities will include a pool, pavilion and open spaces.

The growing Austin Presidio community is slated to add two hotels, buildings with corporate and medical uses, restaurants, and retail. The Michael, an upscale apartment development near the townhome site, began leasing in September. The development also is near the Lakeline Metro Rail station.
