Trumark Homes has landed a prime development spot in Downtown San Jose. The plan is to build a new community adjacent to the San Pedro Square marketplace. The new community will add 78 new townhomes to the neighborhood, contributing to the ongoing urban revitalization that Downtown San Jose has been experiencing this year, according to Trumark Homes

This project by the California homebuilder will be the first of its kind in the area, and it will be within walking distance of Diridon Station, the SAP Center, and the transit village in the works by Google. The site is also ideally situated, close to retail shops, restaurants, entertainment, and offices.

The 2.5-acre site will soon see two- and three-bedroom townhomes ranging from 1,200 square feet to 2,000 square feet. The homes will feature attached direct-access garages.

This project marks yet another Bay Area community built by Trumark. Other actively selling communities include Glass Bay in Newark, Perch in Downtown Dublin, and Fielding at Wallis Ranch, also in Dublin. Trumark will break ground on the project in November, and model homes are expected to open in 2018.
