Upcoming San Diego Mixed-Use Project Approved in Mission Valley
Latitude 33 Planning and Engineering and Tucker Sadler Architects have announced that they’ve received approval on their Friars Road mixed-use project in San Diego’s Mission Valley neighborhood.
The 5.43 acre site across the way from Fashion Valley Mall and the Fashion Valley Transit Center will include two buildings containing 319 residential units, over two stories of parking, and six shopkeeper units. The residential experience here will include plenty of high-end amenities, such as concierge services and multiple exercise and recreational options. The project will be built to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
Greg Mueller, CEO and principal of Tucker Sadler Architects, said in a press release that the building will “reflect the natural topography of the hillsides.” He also mentions that units will come with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking “lush landscaping.”
The two companies have worked together on other projects around San Diego. Together they broke ground last year on a 14-story hotel in Little Italy.
