Excitement is still growing surrounding Walsh, the new home community in west Fort Worth. Developers at Walsh have announced that Britton Homes, a division of Perry Homes, is joining the initial phase of their development.

“D Magazine” recently named Britton Homes one of the best home builders in north Texas.

The Walsh neighborhood is the fourth Republic Property Group community to partner with Britton Homes. Two of the others are among the top-selling master planned communities in the country.

“Britton Homes’ distinctive architecture, personalized features, and superior design selections will bring character to the homes at Walsh,” said Jake Wagner, co-CEO of Republic Property Group, in a statement. “We are excited to partner with Britton Homes on another community and look forward to the versatility, uniqueness, and quality they will bring to future residents at Walsh.”

Britton Homes will be staying true to the architectural plans for the Walsh community, including Colonial, Tudor, and Mediterranean style homes. A unique characteristic of the Britton Homes designs is that they will be set on landscapes that incorporate the natural elevation changes of rolling Texas prairies.

Other local RPG communities with Britton Homes include Phillips Creek Ranch in Frisco, The Villas at Legacy West, and Light Farms in Celina. Britton’s plans for homes at Walsh will include 2,800-4,000-plus square-foot floorplans with prices starting at the low $500,000s.

“What sold us on Walsh, along with the amazing land plan and topography in the rolling countryside, was an additional opportunity to work with one of the most respected developers in Texas,” said Billy Shirley, Division President at Britton Homes, in a statement. “With Walsh, Republic Property Group has really set a new standard for all future master planned communities going forward.”

Britton Homes will have an online presence for Walsh in August 2017 and expects to have a model home open at Founders Park in Walsh by the end of the year.
