According to the Queen Creek Independent, Queen Creek public information officer Constance Halonen-Wilson has confirmed the town’s first “age-qualified neighborhood” would be built by William Lyon Homes’ active adult division.

Ovation at Meridian will include 780 homes among three neighborhoods. Home designs will range from 11 single-story floor plans between 1,400 and 2,500 square feet with two- to four-bedrooms available. Homes will include smart home technology, modern designs, and indoor/outdoor living spaces.

The 245-acre development will also feature a swimming pool and spa, ball courts, large outdoor gathering areas, and a 7.5-acre recreation center with a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse, which they refer to as the cornerstone of the community.

Boasting over 100 amenities on the Ovation site, outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate over 80 acres of open space, miles of trails, and numerous parks — including a dog park and event lawn. The community is located just south of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and minutes from East Rittenhouse Road where there is a cluster of dining and shopping options.

Of their master-planned 55+ community, William Lyon Homes Division President Julie Collins said at the groundbreaking ceremony that Ovation “embraces the spirit of Queen Creek’s heritage.”

Ovation at Meridian will unveil models in late 2018.
