A beautiful community nestled in a hilly area of Florida. New construction still taking place even though listed as resale only. Friendly people with lots of activities. Only negative is a social membership to the Villages of Citrus Hills is mandatory, $1700 / yr as of 2021. Reasonable HOA fees. Two very good hospitals within 15 minutes. Now more convenient (1.5 hours) to Tampa with the addition to the Suncoast Parkway. Lots of restaurants. Biking trails, hiking, fishing, kayaking and nature activities within 15 minutes. One downside is you better like Lowes, Home Depot or Walmart, as all other big box stores are either 50 minutes north or south. This area is exploding, with the current building boom. You will have to decide if that is a positive or a negative. Overall happy to live here, however ownership has a somewhat antagonistic relationship with the developer.
