Briar Ridge residents have access to all of the amenities within Stonebridge Ranch. The three main hubs for activity and social recreation are The Stonebridge Ranch Aquatic Center, Stonebridge Plaza, and the Stonebridge Ranch Beach and Tennis Club. Homeowners can swim and enjoy water activities at the aquatic center, play sports in the beautiful outdoor setting at Stonebridge Plaza, or rent paddle boats or host a private event at the pavilion. There are also miles of trails as well as parks and playgrounds, providing residents with numerous ways to stay active outdoors. Briar Ridge is situated near two major golf courses, each offering challenging layouts, tree-lined greenways, charming lakes, and calming streams that create a unique golfing experience. Stonebridge Ranch Country Club includes 18-hole and 27-hole golf courses featuring Bermuda greens, new bunkers, bridges, and rock walls. Many golfers are attracted to the beauty of these courses, as well as their amenities, golf practice facilities, and on-site dining options. Although there are no schools located inside Briar Ridge’s boundaries, families with school-aged children can send them to several schools served by McKinney Independent School District (ISD). Students from Briar Ridge can attend Glen Oaks Elementary School, Dowell Middle School, and McKinney Boyd High School, which are all highly rated within the school district.
