Briars Cove

We have lived in Briars Cove for 13 years. The neighborhood has a mix of families with young children, and older families with empty nests. Since there is only one through road, traffic is usually light, and kids ride bikes and play outside. We are right next to a park with a pond and playscape. Elementary kids can walk to school (with crossing guard), middle schoolers can walk a nature trail or bike to school with no major road crossings. High schoolers do have to drive or ride the bus. Shopping and restaurants are very close, and the Flower Mound is a 15 minute walk away! The only downside is that the houses are all getting to be 30 years old, have small yards, and the ground shifts, requiring foundation work. I don't think that is enough to lose a star, however!
