Around Broadway Manchester

Because of the neighborhood's diverse population, you will see all types of people popping in and out of local bars and restaurants. This neighborhood is home to both an elementary school and a middle school, so you will see parents and kids during drop-off and pick-up times. The 110 is the neighborhood's western border, so you will see lots of traffic on that side of Broadway-Manchester. There are also tons of fast food restaurants peppered throughout the area.

There are plenty of entertainment options for adults in Broadway-Manchester. Local bars serve a variety of ice-cold cocktails at prices much fairer than in other parts of Los Angeles. Downtown is also just a short car ride away, and hotspot L.A. Live is a fun and exciting location for a night out. The Microsoft Theatre at L.A. Live hosts musical acts and shows from all over the world, while both the Los Angeles Lakers and Kings play at the luxurious Staples Center.

Few things are better then enjoying some good food under the warm sun, and local sit-down eateries have some great restaurants for brunch. If getting out and watching some football sounds more appealing, you can watch the Rams play at the historic Coliseum.

An extremely high population density generally means that residents are in structures that can support as many people as possible, and many of the homes in Broadway-Manchester follow this logic. Mid-sized apartment complexes can be found on the streets that branch off Main Street and west of South Broadway. There are, however, homes available but most of the population rents apartments.

Convenience is king in Broadway-Manchester and nothing is more convenient than fast food. A plethora of speedy, casual options can be found on nearly every corner. This provides hungry customers with plenty of locations for any late night cravings that may occur. There are, however, other choices that extend beyond fast food. BBQ is very popular in this area, and you'd have a difficult time finding a better selection of rib-sticking BBQ joints west of the Mississippi.
