Brookside Lake Manor

There are so many major Atlanta attractions close to Brookside Lake Manor that it’s easy to miss the wonderful facilities and events offered locally. Mableton has half a dozen public parks with plenty of athletic fields and picnic pavilions. Cobb County Parks and Recreation offers a complete menu of programs and classes. Adult and youth competitive sports, golf, gymnastics, and aquatics are mainstays, but there’s also a robust offering of visual and performing arts instruction. Local events include seasonal festivals, theatrical plays and musical performances held at the Mable House Complex, which includes an amphitheater, arts center and, of course, the historic ancestral home of the Mable family for which Mableton was named. For casual nights out, residents head over to Austell or the Cumberland Mall, where there are movie theaters and a plethora of restaurants.
