The HOA fee goes up every year by $10. The HOA board walks around looking to find violations to fine residents. The landscaping is bad. Patches of dead grass all over the complex. Leaves and acorns that fall are all over the sidewalks and the streets and won't get cleaned / picked up for weeks. The community center and the pool is tiny compared to the number of units. Many areas of the community have no street lights to help deter crime so residents keep their porch and driveway lights on all night. Vandalism in the area but the HOA board will not let anyone make modification to the outside structure even for security reasons, for example, install security camera. They simply do not care about the well being of the residents or their properties. Only allows one car on the driveway even if there's room for 2 or 3. The common parking areas are poorly developed with some parts having large areas enough for 10 plus cars and some small for only 2 to 5 cars. Bottom line, going to sell and move ASAP.
