We are very happy living in Brunswick Forest and the larger Wilmington community. However, I don't know for how long. There will be no more tennis or pickleball courts, no basketball court. No large community room, no billiards. The 3rd pool was to be done by now and is not. It will not be large enough to make a dent in the usage. The fitness center does not have enough space. Many people are forced to go outside the community for meeting space, fitness classes and fitness equipment. For years the sales staff has told potential buyers of amenities that were never built. The residents are active and wonderful. But if you want well cared for and enough amenities this is not the place for you.
Yes, Brunswick Forest is both a beautiful and friendly community close to beaches and all that Wilmington has to offer. Disappointing is the insufficient and poorly maintained amenities that do not adequately accommodate utilization by this active and rapidly growing community. What you see is what you get.
Great community. Developer continues to add amenities. Currently 2 outdoor pools and one indoor pool with another planned for spring 2020. The meeting space issue reminds me of the Yogi Berra quote " nobody goes here any more because it is too crowed" There are so many organizations, clubs and neighborhood organizations here that sites need to be scheduled well in advance. A world class indoor pickle ball facility just opened up for all the players we have. I guess some people just look at the world thru dark glasses Well maintained and designed with measured growth. Really enjoy this place and after looking at many, so glad I moved here.
People are very friendly and the neighborhood was in a convenient location. This neighborhood is in a state of growth and expansion and the present amenities ( which look run down ) are certainly too few for all the new developments continually being built. We feel we should have asked different questions and should have looked further. Take your time. Common areas should be upgraded and expanded!
