The local chain has been serving up its classic American fare since 1975.

Like most Seattle neighborhoods, Bryant features Craftsman-style homes with the occasional Cape Cod and modern new build mixed in the area. The neighborhood features many picturesque tree-lined residential streets lined with 100-year-old firs and well-kept homes with manicured landscapes. Bryant Elementary School’s brick and terra cotta façade is one of the architectural standouts in the area. Built in 1930, the building is listed on the Seattle Historic Preservation Landmarks List. On 55th Street NE there is a tiny cluster of shops and restaurants in old buildings that have a vintage, small-town vibe.

While the neighborhood isn’t really known for its nightlife, it is home to a few casual late-night spots. The Duchess Tavern is a laid-back dive bar featuring pub fare and sports games on television. Bryant’s proximity to the University District and University Village is also one of its biggest draws among locals. Both communities feature stellar dining options and lively bars. A few fabulous restaurants and wine bars can also be found in nearby Ravenna.

Bryant Corner Café is known for its delicious breakfasts for a hearty start to the day. Spend a sunny day in one of the local public parks like Bryant Neighborhood Park or Burke-Gilman Park.
